At Our Kids Can, our scholars are prepared daily to achieve socially, creatively, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. With our innovative approaches, nurturing-experienced staff, and thriving environment our kids are destined for success.

Although childcare hours are from 6:30a-6:00pm, all OKC program class hours begin at 8:00 am and end at 4:00pm. To ensure your child gets the best experience, we ask that these times are adhered to daily.

Infant Care
Ages (Birth -16months) / Rates may vary based upon age and child/family need
Deposit - A non-refundable payment of $100 is due upon enrolling.

Overview: A fun nurturing environment awaits your infant. Among cuddles and caretaking, our trained staff provide learning through play, communication, and socialization. Our shoe-free infant classrooms are created around their ages and stages of development and learning. Milestones are achieved by making connections, building brain power, understanding and displaying verbal and physical communication, and free play. Cribs are free of potential hazards, feeding is flexible to fit the child's needs, and diapering/toileting is completed as often as needed. We implement effective and efficient care at all times.

Age Requirements: Children can stay in this program until 16 months, but if determined adapted and cognitively prepared to move to the Tots/Toddler program, they can move as early as 12 months (1y/o).

STREAMin3 Curriculum Content: ABC's, Shapes, Colors, Numbers, Matching/Sorting, Building, Word-play, Motor and Sensory Skills, Art, Sounds/Music, Movement/Dance, Potty Training

Tots & Toddler Care - Preschool Prep
Ages: Tots (1-2.5y/o) / Toddlers (2.5 - 3.5 y/o) Rates may vary based upon age and child/family need

Overview: This program is for our education beginners. As they prepare to embrace the world of school, we gear them up with educational, social, communication, and logical tools needed to be well-rounded scholars. With artistic lessons, educational challenges, and the creation of life-long friendships, they become independent leaders.
STREAMin3 Curriculum Content : Core Subjects (Math, STEM, Colors, Shapes, Logic, Alphabets, Calendar, Weather/Seasons, Sight Words, Sounds and much more) Character building, Self-Esteem, Implementation of Interests, Routine Adherence, Teamwork, and Communication, Social, and Sensory & Fine- Motor Skills, Potty Training
Electives: Spanish Basics, Writing, Art, Music, Sign Language, and Community Skills

Schooling

Overview: Our tested research-based curriculum is led by experienced and passionate educators. We work alongside you to determine your child's pace, interests, and needs.
STREAMIn3 Curriculum allows us to ensure the lessons are catered to best suit your child and the classroom needs. We aim to combine the small class sizes and exquisite education of private school with the cultural diversity and freedom of public schools. With options such a grade advancement, tutoring, and year-round schooling, we have the support and flexibility to nurture your student's overall success.

Before & After School

*This service is based in our center and community, and is offered Monday - Friday between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Overview: Start your school mornings and end your days with us! We want you to succeed and are eager to help get you there. Bring your homework or just an open-mind and we'll provide the learning and fun.
​
Areas of Focus: tutoring, mentoring, homework assistance, creativity, relationship building, effective communication, behavior management, and self-esteem building
​
Pricing & Transportation: transportation provided to & from schools in Portsmouth, VA

Drop - Ins
​
Infant - 6 y/o / Rates vary based upon days and hours needed
Deposit - A non-refundable payment of $100 is due upon enrolling.

We require all drop-ins to complete enrollment and keep all forms and information up-to-date in order to
continue drop-in services.
​
Overview: Drop-Ins are students who are not enrolled as full-time or part-time students. They do not regularly
receive program services more than 3 days weekly. We recommend drop-ins call at least 48 hours prior to
needing assistance. A minimum of a 24 hour notice is required. All policies and rules are to be followed by drop-in
families and students as they are with regularly-enrolled services.

Services: Drop-In students will be placed in an age-appropriate classroom or mixed-group and required to adhere to all scheduled activities and curriculum lessons.
Camp

Ages 3-6y/o/ Rates vary
Deposit - A one time non-refundable payment of $50 is due upon enrollment.
​
We offer seasonal/holiday camps. Camps are both educational and fun. They are offered at our school on select dates. Camp pricing, themes, and activity schedules are provided closer to the camp start date.

Saturday Tutoring & Mentoring
